Consumer survey in UK and USA. Regression and cluster analysis.
SurveyGoo was asked by Lycored to conduct a piece of research to explore how colour influences consumer buyer behaviour of selecting cheese. The survey of 500 consumers each in the UK and USA targeted people who eat hard cheese. The technique included showing different combination of cheeses with a range of colours and measuring perceptions of likability and quality.
The study required complex programming to display a combination of colours of hard cheeses. Each colour combination was rated for indicators of quality and likability.
The survey generated insight into how cheese colour can affect perceptions of quality and influence buyer behaviour.
